The South Precinct of the Seattle Police Department (SPD) and the Southeast Seattle Crime Prevention Council (SSCPC) will be conducting two additional walkabouts at the following Light Rail Stations to assess pedestrian safety:

On January 11, 2012 the Rainier Beach Community Center Advisory Council met to discuss programming and other issues regarding the Rainier Beach Community Center. Advisory Council member Vic Roberson and Justina Guyott were in attendance along with Seattle Parks and Recreation staff, four SE Seattle FreedomNet Citizen Journalist reporters.

Believe it! The RB Coalition and Puget Sound Sage recruit from local area schools through a grant from the Equitable Communities Grant Program to do just that.  They are having a graduation from their training program and they want you there!
