I’m excited to share with you that Vulcan’s first project Batik in Yesler Terrace just started pre-leasing to the public!
In particular, I’m hoping you can help me spread the word to let folks in the community (particularly communities of color, staff of nonprofit organizations), know that there are 39 units that will be rented at a discount below market rate. This is a great opportunity to move into (or return) to the beautifully diverse neighborhood of Yesler Terrace.
To qualify for one of the discounted workforce units, household income would need to fall between 65% – 80% of the King County Area Median Income. Please refer to the PDF attachment for income levels.
All units in the building have the same finishes, and the workforce units are mixed throughout the building unmarked. There are no differences between the market and workforce units other than the monthly rent!
If you are interested in one of these units, please contact our leasing office as soon as possible because (as you can imagine) the 39 units will go fast! Units are available to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis, so please help spread the word to friends and neighbors who are looking for housing and encourage them to apply!
Batik will be ready for move-in in March 2018.
