Office Coordinator Job Announcement

Wayfind is hiring a full-time Office Coordinator to oversee client intake and processing, handle external communications with the public and potential clients, and provide logistical and administrative support for our office.  Wayfind is a nonprofit that provides legal services for community organizations and micoenterprises, that would not otherwise have access to legal services.   We are looking for a person who is self-motivated, community-minded, committed to social justice and detail oriented. The Office Coordinator will work closely with our Executive Director and Staff Attorneys, providing administrative and logistical support for our legal services to clients, fundraising efforts, and office operational needs including managing vendors for phone, internet and insurance.

Wayfind is in a period of growth and developing new systems to accommodate our growth.  The Office Coordinator will also support the effort to develop a communication and work-flow system for Wayfind’s expanding staff and two office locations.  The Office Coordinator will work with the Executive Director, Staff Attorneys and Program Manager to develop and adopt our existing systems so that we can work efficiently as a well-informed and integrated team.

Join our small, but mighty team, made up of our Executive Director, 2 Staff Attorneys, and Administrative Assistant. We work closely together. We are looking for a team player who is committed to social justice, self-motivated, has a positive attitude, and wants to be part of team.

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Compensation and Benefits: $35,500-$38,000 annual salary, health insurance including vision and dental, 7 paid holidays per year, and 15 days of Paid Time Off per year.

Program Manager Job Announcement

Wayfind is hiring a full-time Program Manager position to manage Wayfind’s legal training program and legal clinic programs. This Program Manager position will be located in Wayfind’s Kent office.

The Program Manager (FTE) responsibilities will include the following duties and responsibilities:

Microenterprise and Nonprofit Legal Clinics:

Wayfind provides monthly microenterprise and nonprofit legal clinics. Volunteer attorneys staff the legal clinics to provide free one-hour legal consultations to nonprofit staff and micro-entrepreneurs.  Wayfind works with community partners to put on our legal clinics. The Program Manager will be responsible for our legal clinic program, making sure that our volunteer attorneys and clients are scheduled and have everything they need for the clinic to run smoothly.   The Program Manager will work closely with our community partners on the legal clinics.

·      Manage the day to day program duties of the Legal Clinic, including recruiting and scheduling volunteer attorneys for the clinic, communicating and responding to all volunteer attorney inquiries and needs regarding the Legal Clinic.

·      Working with our Legal Clinic community partners, Ventures, Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship, Nonprofit Assistance Center and other community partners to develop programs and ensure the clients receive high-quality seamless legal services at the clinic.

·      Work closely with the Staff Attorneys to grow our clinic program including building relationships with potential community partners.

·      Work with volunteer attorney partners in planning and implementing microenterprise training programs.

Legal Training Program:

Wayfind puts on approximately 20 legal trainings a year for nonprofits, attorneys and micro-entrepreneurs.   The Program Manager will be responsible for Wayfind’s legal training program, making sure that all the logistics of putting on 20 trainings are managed for a successful training program. Wayfind works with community partners and attorneys to put on our legal trainings. This position will collaborate with our partners to put on the trainings. Travel throughout King County and some travel beyond King County will be required.

·      Manage the legal training program, including planning for and managing the logistics for 20 trainings a year. Such logistics include, setting up registration systems, reserving the venues, ordering food, making copies, preparing materials for the trainings, developing curricula, planning trainings with speakers, recruiting speakers, advertising trainings, outreach and recruiting attendees, and all communications required to carry out these tasks.

·      Collect and evaluate all data related to trainings.

·      Work with Executive Director and Staff Attorneys to manage relationships with volunteer attorneys and law-students who volunteer to take on matters, staff our clinics or speak at the trainings.

Program Evaluation and Systems Development

·      Develop and implement evaluation systems for the Legal Clinic, Legal Training, and Nonprofit legal services programs.

·      Work with staff to develop a communication system for Wayfind staff to integrate individual responsibilities into a holistic agency-wide system.  This will include leading the work to figure out how to use our database, google calendar, google drive and other tools so that we can work efficiently as a well-informed and integrated team.

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Compensation and Benefits: $50,000-$52,000 annual salary, health insurance including vision and dental, 7 paid holidays per year, and 15 days of Paid Time Off per year.
