The Race, Oppression and Discrimination Healing Peer Exchange is a safe and comfortable place to share, learn, and connect in open conversations about racism, discrimination, oppression and other “isms”.
Who Should Attend Anyone who has experienced racism, oppression, discrimination and/or any other “isms” Allies who want to work with others to make positive social change People who are interested in participating in these conversations
Participants will: Raise their awareness of issues related to race, oppression and discrimination Learn from the experiences of others Strengthen relationships of affinity among peers Increase their ability to benefit from the racial/oppression healing process Network to develop ongoing relationships
