…Mayor Mike McGinn has commissioned an online survey for Seattle residents to provide feedback on public safety and the Seattle Police Department. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes (I took the survey) and asks questions about how safe you feel in your neighborhood, and how you feel about SPD’s interactions with community members in your neighborhood. The survey was created by graduate students at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington.

The survey is completely voluntary, and Mayor McGinn is hoping to get at least 15,000 residents to respond. The survey will be available online for the next three weeks. Let’s make sure that our voices are heard! Thank you for your consideration.
