A group of students within the Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP) program at the University of Washington is completing a series of projects on the Rainier Beach neighborhood. We are exploring how residents of Rainier Beach understand and view their neighborhood.
One project has to do with food systems, including how people get their food (gardens, shopping) and the role of food in community life (sharing recipes, part of events).
