Young Playwrights Festival, May 22

Mark your calendars for this literary arts event featuring four one-act plays written by local students. Plays will be dramatized on stage by professional actors. This year’s plays tackle tough topics in ways that are brutal, funny, moving and clever. A brief Q and A with the featured student playwrights will follow the performance.

Student playwrights participated in a ten session in-school residency taught by drama professionals Drew Hobson at South Shore School and Maria Glanz at Rainier Beach High School.
