Help get out the word for youth to meet Marion Jones!

DETAILS:

Many know the story of Marion Jones former world champion track and field athlete. She won five medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics but has since agreed to forfeit all medals and prizes dating back to September 2000 after admitting that she took performance-enhancing drugs.  “My story is unique, in that the first part of my life, my journey, I hit the pinnacle of my career, and it was a very public career, and then I made decisions that cost me all of that,” Jones said. “And so I was at that low point. But I didn’t give up. I kind of developed a way to get out of that, and I’m on my way back up.”

IF you are interested in bringing youth or you know that some of the youth you work with would want to come please let MARTY or HEIDI know by the end of tomorrow their names or how many are coming with you. The goal is at least 100 youth in attendance as this is a great opportunity for our youth-we hope you will consider (although last minute) bringing youth or encouraging them to attend.
