RBAC is governed by a Board of Directors. Each Board member lends their influence to RBAC via their extensive public service activity and volunteer hours. Members of the Board also step in to support strategic relationships, and advise on strategy and proposals. Bylaws direct the steering committee to meet four times per year to review financial records. Board members receive information about RBAC and other neighborhood activity on a monthly basis. Above all, Rainier Beach Action Coalition is organized to be an intermediary for to the innovative Constellation Model of Collaborative Social Change and as a representative of the neighborhood seeks to be always prepared to recognize neighborhood leaders on their own terms and invite them into partnerships to undertake the work of neighborhood improvement.
