Teen Service Learning credits and stipend for Youth Engaged in Services program, Apply by May 14

Youth Engaged in Services (YES) Program for teens between the ages of 13 and 18 years of age:

Six-week program starts July 5th – 120 volunteer hours (60 hrs of which can go toward service learning credits)

Volunteers who complete all 120 hours can receive a $150 stipend

Free Lifeguard Training Team 2010, June 18 – August 19

Program is designed to trained and certify Seattle’s youth in lifesaving skills and includes American Red Cross certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR, and beach-specific rescue techniques.

Applicants must be between 15 and 17 year old.

Essential for youth who are interested in getting a job as lifeguard at community pools.
