We are thrilled to announce our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program for the upcoming season! From July 11 to November 21, 2025, we will offer fresh, locally grown produce boxes delivered directly from local BIPOC farms to your table! By joining our CSA program, you will have access to various seasonal vegetables and fruits while supporting local farmers.

What is a CSA?
A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a partnership between farmers and community members. Members purchase a portion of a farm’s harvest in advance, providing farmers with upfront financial support to cover the costs of planting, growing, and harvesting. In return, CSA customers receive a weekly or bi-weekly box of fresh, seasonal produce throughout the growing season. This model ensures farmers have a stable income and connects consumers directly to the source of their food, fostering a stronger sense of community and food sovereignty.

Our CSA program is designed to provide affordable, fresh, and locally grown produce. We help alleviate the financial and emotional burden of food insecurity, and here’s how:

  1. Our CSA boxes are priced to be accessible to many households, including those on limited budgets. By offering sliding-scale pricing, we ensure that cost is not a barrier to accessing healthy food.
  2. With a CSA box, families can rely on a consistent supply of fresh produce, reducing the need to purchase expensive groceries at retail prices.
  3. Access to fresh, nutritious food can improve overall health, reducing the stress and anxiety associated with food insecurity. Knowing where your food comes from and having a direct connection to local farmers fosters a sense of security and community.
  4. By participating in our CSA program, you’re not only feeding your family but also supporting local BIPOC farmers who face their own challenges in the agricultural industry.

Farming Challenges & Community Solutions

At the heart of everything we do are three guiding principles:

  1. Engaging Youth and Food Systems through Community Care for Farmers
  2. Nurturing Our Local Economy
  3. Advocacy through Education and Storytelling on Policy Initiatives

Our 2025 Vision

  • Strengthen food justice initiatives through increased community support and engagement.
  • Expand partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and institutions to create a stronger local food economy.
  • Increase revenue from CSA boxes and Food Hub business partnerships to sustain and expand our impact.
  • Advocate for policies that protect small farmers and promote food justice at the local and national levels.
