We are thrilled to announce that Rainier Beach Action Coalition is hosting its first gala on Friday, November 7 at 6 p.m. at Labour Temple located in Downtown Seattle. Our theme, “Neighborhood Heroes: Honoring the Heart of Rainier Beach,” will celebrate the resilience and leadership of local residents while raising essential funds to support RBAC’s neighborhood-driven programs.

This year’s theme was inspired by reflections from last year’s guests. It honors the people and organizations who pour their energy, love, and leadership into this neighborhood every day. These are the steady hands and open hearts that keep Rainier Beach moving forward.

The gala serves as our signature fundraiser and community engagement event, bringing together donors, partners, and neighbors to reflect on the impact of our work and rally support for the year ahead. The program will feature live music, dinner, a keynote address, a live auction, and the presentation of our first Neighborhood Hero Awards to local changemakers who embody the spirit of service and justice in Rainier Beach.

This event directly connects to RBAC’s mission to build a connected, sustainable, and equitable Rainier Beach by elevating the voices of our community and mobilizing resources to advance food justice, youth development, economic opportunity, and neighborhood safety.

Our event will reaffirm our belief that real change comes from within the neighborhood itself and that sustainable impact requires long-term investment and collaboration.
