WHAT: Laborers Union 4-Week Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program – in partnership with King County Jobs Initiative (KCJI)

WHEN: July 9 – Aug 3, 2018, Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm

WHERE: Laborers Local 242 in Des Moines, WA

COST: All costs of this training program will be covered!

Requirements include but not limited to:

• At least 18 years of age and a valid Driver’s License
• Resident of King County
• Must be legal to work in United States
• Must be able to frequently lift and move objects weighing 50 lbs. or more
• Must pass drug test
• Must be low-income

The 4 week hands-on Laborers pre-apprenticeship training includes:

~ OSHA 10 training/certification

~ First aid/CPR training/certification

~ Flagger/signalperson training/certification

~ Laborers pre-construction training

~ Upon successful completion of this pre-apprenticeship training, students will get direct and immediate entry into the NW Laborers Apprenticeship, with first-year apprentice wages starting at $21.32/hr+benefits!
