MARCH 30, 2016 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. Rainier Beach Library 9125 Rainier Ave S. Seattle, WA 98118 Based on a true story, brownsville song (b-side for tray) celebrates the life of Tray, an 18-yearold high school senior killed in a senseless act of gang violence. Tray’s untimely death alters his high school senior’s dreams, leaving his family to pick up the pieces and find hope and resilience within their tight-knit Brooklyn borough. In mourning, Tray’s family must come together to survive in the wake of his profound loss. This is a beautiful, lyrical play featuring a youth protagonist and a strong focus on social justice.
