The Rainier Beach Stewardship Council is hosting a meeting this Saturday, with Seattle City Councilman Tom Rasmussen, chair of the Transportation Committee, in attendance (see original article here)

    This past Saturday marked the Stewardship Council’s first hearing with Council-member Rasmussen of the Transportation Committee to stop Sound Transit from burdening Rainier Beach residents with the cost of doing Sound Transit business. The Stewardship Council has pledged to uphold the rights of residents concerning the ongoing parking debate. Join with the Stewardship Council to ensure that resident’s voices and rights are respected. Monthly meetings are the third Wednesday of every month (June 22). Check out a Letter to the Editor in this week’s Asian Weekly.
