PNW Ironworkers Local 86 4-Week Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program – funded by a grant from the WA State Department of Transportation

WHEN: Aug 13 – Sept 7, 2018, Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (Evaluation/Screening Day is Aug 8)

WHERE: PNW Ironworkers Local 86 Apprenticeship training facility, 4550 S. 134th Pl. #101, Tukwila, WA 98168

COST: FREE. All costs of this training program will be covered, including tools, equipment, boots, and the Local 86 initiation fee!

 No Experience Required!

Requirements include:

Available to attend ALL training days

At least 18 years old

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Legal to work in United States

Able to frequently lift and move objects 50 lbs. or more

Must pass Evaluation/Screening Day

Must pass Ironworker Career Physical Abilities Test (CPAT)

Must pass industry-required drug test

The 4-week hands-on Ironworkers Pre-Apprenticeship training includes:

OSHA 10 training/cert

First aid/CPR training/certification

Flagger/signalperson training/certification

Fire Watch training/certification

Ironworker apprenticeship orientation

Students who are selected and successfully complete this pre-apprenticeship training will get direct entry into PNW Ironworkers 86 Apprenticeship, a four year Earn-While-You-Learn program with apprentice wages starting at $24.49/hr+benefits!

Space is Limited! MUST SUBMIT COMPLETED APPLICATION IN PERSON (M-F 7am-4pm) and BRING REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (driver’s license, proof of eligibility to work in U.S., and vehicle registration)
