Have you seen the new mural lighting up the walls of the old Pho Van building? That project took place as a result of collaboration between Cathie Wilmore of Rainier Beach: A Beautiful Safe Place for Youth, Kema Jones & Mari Shibuya of Arts for Resistance & Resilience, and countless other local artists, including Perri Rhoden, Isaac Grayson, Henry Luke, Jockquess Levan, Damon Brown, Munch, & Sponge. Another honorable mention goes to our very own, artistically talented RBAC youth who supported the work of designing and painting the mural.

On Saturday, a celebration was held to commemorate this new installation of community artwork. In addition to the mural presentation, the event had food, speakers, music, and so much more.
