The Odunde Festival is a community celebration of the African Harvest, giving thanks to the creator for the gift of life. A time for all to gather, pay homage, share fruits and celebrate family, community and a vision reborn within each of us.

True-life testimonials honoring our community-based work will be performed on stage highlighting the African village.

Each year, around the Thanksgiving weekend this production is a true reflection of grace, artistic works, and an abundant admiration for the spirit of our ancestors who continue to guide us ton the paths of righteousness. The theme this year; ‘Delo Diouckeul Adefua’ means Giving Back. The celebration comes alive at The Broadway Performance Hall in Seattle, two performances, along with six interactive cultural learning workshops, and The African Market Place for the entire family.

ACEW’s mission is to create, expand, and offer options for youth to enhance growth, personal development, and academic success through the study of African culture, music, and dance.
