+ Environmental Justice – The Mapes Walkway will be closing soon! Construction on the Lower Mapes Creek Restoration Project and 52nd Ave. S. Combined Sewer Overflow Reduction Project is scheduled to begin in October temporarily closing the walkway through July of 2014. Come to informal drop-in gathering on Tuesday, September 24, 2013; 4-6 pm at the North end of Mapes Walkway (aka the Circle – 52nd Ave S. at S.
