RBAC has recently started a project that aims to reduce the amount of food waste in Rainier Beach. This project will be led by RBAC young adults and possibly some other Young Adults from Rainier Beach High School. The people involved in this project are called Youth Justice Fellows. We are taking on this project with help from the Sustainability Ambassadors Program. The Youth Justice fellows are currently working/creating campaigns to reduce food waste. Their plans are to go into schools and classrooms/students to commit to reducing the amount of food waste they may have in their homes.
