Come on out to enjoy a fantastic dinner with some of the finest folks in the neighborhood, all united to support Detective Cookie’s Urban Youth Chess Club!

Since starting the program in 2006, Detective Cookie has involved over 4300 students in learning chess and delivered over 51,000 teaching hours; nearly half of the youth she now works with between the ages of 5 and 18 are below the state poverty level.

A group of local community members have gathered to assist Detective Cookie so that she can sustain her excellent work with our youth. And we need your help!

A fundraiser dinner and tribute will be held in honor of Detective Cookie’s Urban Youth Chess club, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Lakewood/Seward Park Clubhouse.

A luscious buffet style meal will be served, followed by Live Music, Wine, A Mini Auction, including fantastic vacation packages. And you will meet some of the budding chess masters that Detective Cookie is training.
Only 100 seats will be available, so get your ticket TODAY.
