FreedomNet – editorial board leadership, video editing, graphic design. The Beach Fives is a program currently composed of six young adults at RBAC all who are graduates from Rainier Beach High School, who provide capacity-building support within the RBAC organization and the Rainier Beach neighborhood, all the while developing their leadership skills. The Beach Fives program, funded by King County’s Best Start for Kids initiative, started at RBAC in 2018. We have talked about this group before and want to provide a look back at their 2021 work.

Beach Fives project management – team meetings, meeting with supervisor, schedule development and time tracking and promotion.
This project and these activities are all intended to develop leadership skills and build capacity. Not a bad years worth of work.
